Bungalow Bill's Month in Review: August 2009

Another month has passed, and to be truthful, I am exhausted with trying to keep up with the radical changes going on in our country. My hands hurt from the keyboard, and yet, I know fighting the forces of change that want to rob us of liberty is more important than complaining about my hands.
Let's review the top blogs of August 2009:
1. I am sad to say, but the Czar List has grown since I presented it last month. As you know, Obama is appointing czars over everything which is helping him achieve more power. I figure one day, he will go to his team of Czars and tell Nancy Pelosi she no longer has a job.
2. What an ugly man Ted Kennedy was! No, not appearance wise. Look at all the ugly things he did during his lifetime, and yet our flags flew at half mast this weekend in his honor. Who cares that Ted Kennedy tried to make a deal with the Soviet Union in hopes to defeat the Reagan Revolution, we now honor treason in this country by lowering the flag. It's shameful!
3. Section 1233 of HR3200 has caused a national firestorm. Why would the federal government consider end of life counseling. Could it be to tell you they will not provide any more treatment because the cost to treat you compared to the cost of your worthiness as a taxpayer doesn't render a certain score; therefore, they will discuss what to expect during the rest of your time on earth--maybe even throw in a Kevorkian deal for you? This is common sense. As long as a federal budget places restrictions on costs, there will be rationing. Some of you liberals think the federal government is an endless money pit designed to baby sit you and take care of you and it's simply not true. Besides, there are only so many rich people they cans steal from so that your lazy ass can can prioritize your iPhone over you paying for your own insurance coverage. Healthcare is not a right.
4. Following very closely in fourth position is the initial entry of the end of life counseling. There was an older lady, late seventies, that was at the Claire McCaskill town hall meeting with an Obama t-shirt and a healthcare is a right sign. I wanted to give her my e-mail address so she can report from her death panel one day and tell me is she still has the same enthusiasm for Obama and his healthcare plan.
5. It's the blog that just won't go away as Americans continue to arm themselves as the threat from their own government grows. People are still checking out the blog about whether you can get a good firearm at a good price. Hi Point 9mms receive lots of reviews even many months after the blog was posted.
6. Why are Americans arming themselves? Because never in the history of this country have we been asked to turn Americans in for opposing a sitting president and a bill. Obama set up the White House Web site begging people to turn in people who are talking bad about the healthcare plan. I hope some of the libs who read this page turned me in. Remember, I am fighting for your freedom, and one day you will know I was right.
7. Somehow, I got on the Organizing for America spam list--probably from turning myself in (see above). Shortly after, I got an e-mail asking me to drop by Claire McCaskill's Senate office at Park Central Square and share why I want healthcare reform. I signed up, but thanks to my car's computer throwing a fit, I couldn't make it. Readers of this blog when and they were greeted by a we're not here sign. Thanks Claire for standing me up after the invite.
8. The Obama campaign logo is a symbol that seems more important than the presidential seal itself. When people started noticing similarities in its appearance and that of Nazi Germany, the left went mad.
9. Obama's town hall meetings are worthless pathos--scripted theater. This was proved in New Hampshire when a sweet little girl was picked to ask Dear Leader a question. Turns out the little girls had connections to the Obama campaign.
10. The VA's 52-page Your Life, Your Choices was pulled of the VA's Web site after people began to realize the document encourages a patient to make the decision to pull the plug to help cut costs.
Thank you everyone for making this another successful month. Ad revenue jumped, and readership also climbed 7% this month. We are averaging over 600 hits a day, so I appreciate everyone who supports this blog.

I feel ya on the blogging at the speed of internet discourse. I still have a day job. It's hard to keep up because by the time you post, it's old news. Guess it's better ti run things like a salon and less like a breaking news moment.
ReplyDelete430 posts in August???? Wow, hon. That is quite a feat. No wonder your hands hurt. Obama has been running scared in August. Patriotic Americans have much to be proud of. Keep going strong, Clay. Many blogger, myself included, look to you for leadership.
