AARP Spokesman Danny Glover Attacked in Dallas Over Hugo Chavez Connection at AARP Meeting

There was a point last November when I questioned if average Americans really cared about what was going on. With the healthcare debate, I no longer have to worry. The following video (posted by Left Coast Rebel) shows how informed and upset Americans are.

The meeting was set up by the AARP (who better take me off their mailing list when I turn 50 in 12 years) in Dallas, Texas. The people running the meeting consistently talk down to the attendees who clearly aren't wearing Brooks Brothers, wearing swastikas, and show they don't want Obamacare. One gentlemen brings up that Danny Glover is a spokesman of the AARP and is disgusted they chose a spokesman who looks up to Hugo Chavez. This is a wonderful moment in this video.

These people are passionate and they aren't falling for the rhetoric with the AARP provides which accuses the current system of rationing. They know the rationing will come from Obama and the Democrats once they run the system. The AARP is an Obama puppet. They don't care about senior citizens.

  2. I decided years ago never to join AARP and those who have should leave this lobby. Great video

  3. Where are they getting that Danny Glover is an AARP spokesperson? I haven't seen him on TV or anything in commercials.

  4. First of all one of the great things about America is that you do have a choice. So, if you do not want to be a part of AARP then so be it, don't be a part of it. (That should be the end of the story.) There is however, a fundamental issue with what transpired in this video that goes way over the line and it uncalled for, and down right rude. The people in this video had staged and planned the attack on the speaker. The video is sliced and diced and takes everything out of context. I for one want to live in this country with my eyes wide open and be FULLY INFORMED and have all of my facts correct before I say anything to anyone. I certainly don't want to listen to a bunch of angry uninformed conversatives that think they can use abuse and harrasment to intimiate and then go to church on Sunday and be forgiven. I think it is shameful how this event transpired and all of you who support it's hateful message should be ashamed of yourselves and rethink where you want to live. Perhaps you would be better of in say the middle east. Keep close-mindedness and war hungry people over there not here. Stop this crazieness before you distroy everything America {used} to stand for! You all make me sick.

  5. So you are saying America is great as long as we have a choice that resembles your choice? Because the rest of your rant makes me think that you wish we would just shut up--which leads me to believe you don't enjoy and celebrate the freedom of the First Amendment.

Are you fully informed Mr. Anonymous? That's a great claim to make, and I am sure given the chance to debate you I could easily debunk that. Have you read HR3200 from cover to end Mr. Anonymous? I doubt it, and if that is the case you aren't fully informed. You are only informed by the people you think are leaning in the direction that you think is correct--which means you are not only not fully informed, but you are biased as well.

I wonder how you felt about all the hateful messages George W. Bush had to deal with over the last eight years. Did you celebrate Mr. Anonymous or did you accuse those same protesters of destroying YOUR country.

I wonder if you even know what American used to stand for considering it was founded by protesters. You are familiar with that aren't you Mr. Anonymous?

If you don't want to listen to a bunch of conservatives, why did you come to my site in the first place. Your comment shows true ignorance. It's no wonder you didn't leave a name with your comment. I would be embarrassed of it too.

Sorry about the captcha. I hate them just like you, but the spambots have gotten ridiculous.
