Do you know what Healthymagination is? After a $140 billion in bailouts, GE, ulike General Motors and Chrysler, was allowed to expand. The purpose of their expansion is clear--promote Obamacare, and they are doing so with a new company called Healthymagination. Very early on, Tom Daschle, who has written the outline to nationalized healthcare which includes rationing of care, sits on the board.
Healthymagination's mission is to make healthcare affordable. Where have we heard that before? They have been given a nice chunk of stimulus money, and mention once more $140 billion in bailouts, to go along with Obama's plan. Healthymagination will be working with Intel to develop what is probably the national patient database, which is nothing more than a government computer with an algorithm that decides how worthy you are to receive care (although this hasn't been confirmed yet).
GE announced recently that Newt Gingrich will also sit on the Healthymagination board. (I am starting to feel duped by the former House Speaker. I used to think he was a good guy.) Why would Gingrich go to work for Jeffrey Immelt, and Obama ally and known socialist?
From General Electric's press release:
New board member Newt Gingrich — a former Speaker of the House, author,
college history professor, and founder of the Center for Health Transformation —
comes literally having written a book on the future of healthcare. But he’s also
renowned for being a pragmatist who’s unafraid to fight current dogma — or
policymakers of any political stripe. His experience, insight, and reputation
for not backing down from taking tough issues to a public stage are tailor made
to navigating the problems and solutions in a broken healthcare system — and for
keeping healthymagination true to its goals.
Says Speaker Gingrinch: “As major health reform continues to be a
priority for all Americans, we must find solutions that improve quality, reduce
costs and increase access. GE realizes the importance of bringing together
policymakers, industry experts, government leaders and the private sector to
collaborate in achieving these goals. It’s an honor to serve on the
healthymagination board, and I look forward to the challenging work ahead.”

I was wary of Newt since he left Capitol Hill. This just seals the deal. No Newt is good Newt.
I noticed Bill Frist is on the board too. He's a doctor, but also a former Republican Senate Majority Leader.
