Obama the Hypocrite: From Feeling Intimidated to Becoming the Intimidator

Why is it Barack Obama opposed the idea of quickly pushing legislation through Congress without giving Congress or the country time to read it, but now follows that model on nearly every important piece of legislation? Obama made a campaign promise that Americans would be able to view each piece of legislation for nearly a week before he signed it. Obama hasn't followed through. In fact, Obama has egg on his face after a 2004 interview shows up.

Obama's interview condemns the exact same behavior Obama has led with--rush it through and keep the people ignorant. Obama says in the interview this causes messes and allows bad legislation to get passed without anyone knowing what's in the bill. I agree with Obama in 2004.

You have to ask, where's the change? The Obamabots were promised change, but we have clearly another example of meet the new boss--same as the old boss--with the exception the new boss is doing it many more times and at a much greater scale than the old boss. Obama lives on the fast track of not allowing legislation to be read thoroughly and demanding it get passed as quickly as possible. The same Democrats who complained about the Patriot Bill on the fast track are giving Obama a free pass.
