Why is it Barack Obama can tell us that we have to begin living within our means? Then why is it when he looks at the massive government checkbook and then conducts an interview and says we are broke, he doesn't feel the need to tighten the government's elastic belt?
It's not the job of the president to spend money, but like everything else, Obama quickly forgets the limits Article II of the Constitution places on his job. As Americans lose more jobs, as the redistribution of wealth heads overseas in the form of factories that once made up the great American industrial base, Obama continues to give money we don't have to other countries. Does it make any sense at this time to continue contributing to our national debt to give billions of dollars in aid to other countries? At some point, we are going to need to start taking care of ourselves and get this economic train wreck Obama continues to derail back on track.
So it's $3 billion to promote agriculture in Africa. This is just a part of the growing billions Obama is handing out to other countries. We are having to borrow this money from the Chinese. Seriously, what sense does it make to borrow money and pay the interest rates on money that you just give away. At this point in time, America needs to start taking care of its own, or there very well could not be an America. It will be hard to survive the doubling of the debt Obama's budget is on track. That's right economist who have analyzed Obama's spending predict by the time he is down, we could be looking at close and maybe over $20 trillion in debt. One man will ruin this country if he doesn't slow down with the national checkbook.
