How convenient! In the middle of the debate for more government control over the Internet with the Cyber Security Act, The US Treasury Department, Secret Service, Federal Trade Commission and Transportation Department computers have come under a cyber attack.
The attack started on July 4, 2009. There are few details coming out about the attacks, their origins, or who might be responsible. It just continues to amaze me that during the middle of debate as the government is looking to gain an iron fist, we have so many instances of situations to help them better make their case to pass the legislation. We have seen it with food poisoning and the Food Safety Act of 2009. We continue to see it with high-profile shootings which increased dramatically once Obama took office and the current legislation designed to take more gun rights away from people. Now we are starting to see it with computers. Are these coincidences or planned? You decide. The world sometimes appears as one big fairy tale at times.

Kinda smacks of when gun-control legislation is pending and some nut shoots up a church or a restaurant. Coincidence? Mmmmmm.....not so much.
