Requesting Modern Militia Movement Report Documents Under the Provisions of the Sunshine Law from Governor Jay Nixon

After reading Josh Carter’s letter to Governor Jay Nixon, I decided to call Nixon’s office to make a request for the Modern Militia Movement Report documents from Nixon’s first meeting with state officials and law enforcement officials. I was transferred to an office and voicemail took the call. I left the information they needed to call me back, and let them specifically know that I was seeking information under the Sunshine Law for the documents related to the MIAC Modern Militia Movement Report. I will comment further once the Nixon’s office returns my call or sends their thugs out.

Earlier this week, I was interviewed by KY3 who did a story on the report. I have forwarded the Carter’s letter to Dave Cantanese, who requested the interview with me on Monday.

The damage from the MIAC Report has already been done. It was a well executed PSYOP. Look how conservatives, outraged by this report, rushed to distance themselves from the militia. "Heck, I support such and such, but I ain't in no militia!"

Oh yes you are. The militia is all of us except a handful of elected officials. Had the MIAC Report singled out Jews, now would be the time to place menorahs in our windows and wear yarmulkes. Had the report singled out blacks, now would be the time to stand firm, both vocally and visually, with the black community. Had the report singled out homosexuals, now would be the time to wear pink armbands.

But it wasn't any of those unpopular groups, it was the militia. What the report refers to as the militia movement is just those of us in the militia who take seriously the responsibility that comes with the right to keep and bear arms mentioned in the Second Amendment's opening clause. It's not owning guns and pleading with our representatives that's necessary to the security of a free state.

Now would be a good time to go to www.awrm.org, find a unit near you, ask the unit's coordinator over for dinner, bring your friends, ask all the hard questions about racism, hate, overthrowing the government, etc., and, when you realize that we're not what the SPLC and the mainstream media make us out to be, join up. That is the ONLY way the MIAC report will truly backfire.

Flick, You are right. I was sad that KY3 didn't include the part of my interview that defined what role a just militia plays in our government. There is a place for it, and when the time comes that we must practice our Second Amendment right, I will be standing next to you. Calling radical right-wing groups militia is destroying the positive defintion of milita constructed by our forefathers. Notice how they don't call left-wing groups militias. They are often celebrated as heroes as some logger in Alaska takes a chain saw to his face.
