New Hampshire HCR-6 Demands Return of Power to New Hampshire Based on Jeffersonian/Constitutional Principles
A resolution originating in the New Hampshire state house is receiving momentum in New Hampshire. If passed into law, it would return power back to New Hampshire like the founding fathers intended. It provides six reasons that justifies New Hampshire's secession from the federal government. I will list the six, and then provide the link if you wish to read the entire resolution. Let's hope this legislation spreads from New Hampshire into the other 49 and sends Congress a clear message. We will not allow our natural rights to be walked on.
I. Establishing martial law or a state of emergency within one of the States comprising the United States of America without the consent of the legislature of that State.
II. Requiring involuntary servitude, or governmental service other than a draft during a declared war, or pursuant to, or as an alternative to, incarceration after due process of law.
III. Requiring involuntary servitude or governmental service of persons under the age of 18 other than pursuant to, or as an alternative to, incarceration after due process of law.
IV. Surrendering any power delegated or not delegated to any corporation or foreign government.
V. Any act regarding religion; further limitations on freedom of political speech; or further limitations on freedom of the press.
VI. Further infringements on the right to keep and bear arms including prohibitions of type or quantity of arms or ammunition.
The representatives in New Hampshire who have written this resolution understand the limits of the federal government as Jefferson intended. This will block nationalized health care and other socialization in New Hampshire. The debate for the resolution begins on February 5th. Let's hope they are successful in passing this as the law of New Hampshire. To read the entire resolution click here. Remember secession is a tool that requires the federal government to live by the Constitution. It's a good tool. LIVE FREE OR DIE!

Woohoo, Go New Hampshire!
ReplyDeleteI already sent a copy of this to my state legislators, hopefully they will see the wisdom in this move and write/pass a similar piece of legislation here.
ReplyDeleteI have written both state Senator Dan Clemens and state Reprentative Raymond Weter encouraging them to do the same for Missouri.
ReplyDeleteThe Gettin after Lefty Show would like to do a show on this. Anyone out there that has in depth knowledge of this legislation please contact Gary Gatehouse --host of The Gettin after Lefty Raio/podcast talk show.

Will New Hampshire beat Vermont off the Titanic?
ReplyDeleteIf I recall right from my 2007 New England vacation, Vermont's secession was due to Bush policies, wasn't it? Surely all is good in Vermont with Obama in charge. New Hampshire's HCR-006 is conservative in its beliefs. Section V obviously has the Fairness Doctrine in mind.
ReplyDeleteI'll be forwarding this to my legislators here in Maryland. I still hope that one day, they may take a cue from your state.
ReplyDeleteWHY DON'T TEXAS LEGISLATORS HAVE ANY BALLS? YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!
ReplyDeleteOf all the states, one would think Texas would lead the movement.
ReplyDeleteMy reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.......,-Thomas Jefferson-
ReplyDelete"My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government."-Thomas Jefferson-
ReplyDeleteWhat is the status of the vote? They were supposed to meet on February 12, 2009.
ReplyDeleteI have tried to find it, but I haven't been sucessful. I searched a few New Hampshire news outlets. I'm looking though.
ReplyDeleteWe are still months away from the likes of HCR-6 from gaining serious speed. Inflation will be somewhere between 12-18% within six months as a result of the mass printing of federal notes. At that point, it will be clear that the Feds are no longer able to control this train wreck. The question that should be asked, where can I place my bet on which states will be jumping first?
ReplyDeleteI predict censorship on the internet to discourage communication as well as sudden gun control laws. It also appears this administration will not tolerate criticism by any media outlets. New Hampshire has always prided itself on being Independent and very politically aware. They know exactly what they are doing.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all I must warn you as you can see I had a lot to say. It is important for me to see some of my thoughts in writing and to share them. I am afraid by the loss of our individual right to the truth.
ReplyDeleteI home schooled my children not to protect them but to expose them to all the facets and realities of the illusion of what is known as the United States of America by educating them in true history not the edited version which is used in our schools, which unfortunately is also controlled by the Federal Government.
My father fought for this country, and continued to serve in the government for the rest of his life in the security sector involved with Cheyenne Mountain and other facilities. He taught me to honor the constitution and it has influenced my entire lifescape. I am saddened every time I hear a politician say this is a great democracy. No it is not, it is a dying republic. A democracy is no more then mob rule. I think my children are the only ones of their peer group which know the "Civil War" was not legal by the constitution and Lincoln did not fight it to liberate all those held in bondage.(although the outcome makes it much more palatable to the common citizen, we see this tactic crop up quite frequently, guilt is a wonderful thing for a politician to keep in his bag of tricks.) But unfortunately the opposite is true, slavery as a culture died, thank God, but bondage in exchange for limited freedom still exists. We work all day to supply the funds and means for the Federal Government to force us to accept laws we have no wish for and responsibility for those who do not wish to be responsible for themselves. I told my husband to start buying gold over 3 years ago. I tried to explain to him that secession was in the air; not to destroy the dream that was the United States of America but to recreate it in the crucible of knowledge and sticking to it but first our economy would collapse and our great Republic would dissolve in a frenzy of social restructuring. I had no idea it would be this soon that we would become a socialist "nation" so completely that as individual citizens we have voluntarily given up our right to keep what we build and give where we wish and say what needs to be said and heard by those who should be listening. And here it is to my dismay. I hoped never to see this day.
I know my father and those others who fought through five campaigns in WWII and most whose parents and grandparents were immigrants would feel cheated if they had to see this government and as it stands now. Heaven forbid our congressmen conduct meetings online. OH no, they have to fly everywhere. They are so above the common man and so untouchable by our needs that they see nothing wrong with spending thousands of dollars in order to fly to Greece or wherever and represent us as a people. I am shamed by what they show the rest of the world of what we have become. I would much rather see this money spent, on our American Veterans.
I read a blog recently where a woman stated she believed that HCR-6 was as insult to all those who serve in our military. I disagree strongly. Our Soldiers fight to uphold our constitution not to have it trampled beneath the feet of greed and the power trading which ensues on the hill everyday of our hardworking lives. And what really hurts is it is the Men and Women in the Armed Forces which are being denigrated very subtly by the very people who are suppose to be supplying the funds and oversight to keep them safe and viable in a dangerous world. The spooned message we are fed daily is they are heroes but they do kill people, so as real Americans do we really want them around and isn't something wrong with the guy who doesn't come home with PTSD. We are having an agenda of false humanity shoved down our throats so we can all fit in the mold with which is popular politically speaking to sacrifice true humane impulses in order to appease.
My son during a discussion with several peers said if he came upon someone raping another he would kill the perpetrator. He is greatly respected by those who do not even consider him a friend and so his viewpoint was taken seriously and his humanity was called into question buy those who don't know how deeply his honor runs. In fact the suggestion was made by several others that torture would be appropriate because we did not as individuals have the right to take another's life but we could teach the criminals to respect others with some form of physical punishment. My son is not a religious person however the people he was discussing this with are professed Christians. He asked them if they believed in an afterlife and all said they did. So my son asked, "Why do you think we are capable of dealing with such evil when there is a power greater then ours who knows how to. Why can't we send him (rapist) to a greater authority and in the process protect further innocence from being destroyed?" My son was called to the dean's office for his comment and I was pleased to find out that he was understood and not hushed from discussing anymore what could be considered political on campus. Yes, morality and humanity is now a venue for political discussion not a given.
My point is I could not comprehend how twisted the message has become pertaining to the definition of being humane. Torture as a substitute for retribution and prevention? Let
s deal in reality there is no justice for anyone for the loss of a child through unspeakable crime. The feds control our children through the pernicious propagation of misinformation and misdirection. Too much fog on the horizon for the young people I watch struggling everyday to define their country and rationalize it's immorality and greed and the role they play in it's continued existence and abuse. They crave a belief system that runs in their blood and is inherent in every human being and the Jeffersonian school of thought is right on target.
I am signing this anonymous because I have never posted on a blog before and I am not sure of the ramifications for my daughter who is a public figure.
Thanks for responding. I don't for one second believe bills like New Hampshire's HCR-6 and Missouri's HR-212 are an insult to our troops. In a blog I posted earlier this week, our soldiers for command in their oath is to protect the Constitution. You might want to check it out. On July 31, 1990, I Took an Oath to Protect The Constituion of the United States: What That Oath Means to me Today
ReplyDeleteI also agree with you about the civil war. My blog, The Civil War Negates Secession: Is It Possible to Control the Power of the Federal Government? examines the results of not allowing the states out of the union as originally intended.
