In 2009 America, Jesus Loves You and Your Baby is a Hate Crime: Rev. Walter B. Hoye II Going to Jail

When the greatest story of love becomes a hate crime in the United States, you better pay attention to the rest of your Constitutional rights. Rev. Walter B. Hoye II, a Baptist minister at the Progressive Missionary Baptist Church in Oakland, California, awaits sentencing from a judge because he held up a sign that said something that many kids are taught and sing from the time they are old enough to talk, 'Jesus Loves You.'

Reverend Hoye stood outside a California abortion clinic with his sign offering a message of love and additional information to those who wanted it--not forcing it upon anyone. Two thugs from the baby killing clinic, wearing orange colored jackets, stood in front of his sign to block people from seeing it. They carried large blank cards blocking Reverend Hoyes sign.

A few days later Hoye was charged for a hate crime. As the case was heard in a California court room, video evidence showed Hoye was not a threat and the abortion clinic's employees testimony didn't match up with what was on the video.




"I sat in the courtroom when the videotape was shown," said Dana Cody of the Life Legal Defense Foundation. "And pastor Hoye wasn't blocking; he was being blocked. He wasn't harassing, he was being harassed."

If something as loving as Jesus loves you is a hate crime which the First Amendment no longer protects, when will you be arrested for commenting on your descent for Obama? Our thug of a government is obviously out of control. They have on video the abortion thugs pacing next to this man harassing him for holding up a sign, and the reverend is the one who is arrested. He didn't threaten those men. He didn't threaten the women going into the clinic to who chose to kill what they created. He didn't threaten the building, the doctors, the receptionist, nurses, or even the Oakland city sanitation department workers. He held up a sign that says Jesus love you, and two years of his life may be robbed from this man.

Over the past week, I learned quickly why this country is divided. The bleeding heart liberals who teach tolerance aren't tolerant. I have known this fact for a very long time, but never personally dealt with it. Now that I have nearly 1,000 conservative themed blogs on the internet, I like many of you have become a target. Our country is divided because there is no tolerance from the left. The right has stayed silent and true to tolerance for so long, that we have allowed extreme liberals to cross a line. Now Reverend Hoye pays the price for our silence. Our silence has allowed these laws to be passed with little resistance.

Offer resistance that a liberal doesn't agree with you, and they start threatening you. They take your words out of context, attempt to change their meaning, and call you names. I learned this from experience this week as one visitor to my page began to investigate who I was and threw insults at me. All these childish games, like blocking signs, are designed to take the attention away from your argument. It's simple. We are right. They are wrong. In fact the left has become so wrong the only way they know to combat your argument is with silly games of insults, attempting to gather information about you and then threaten to use it, and changing the direction of your argument. So desperate was one person to change the direction of the argument that he used my Google ads, which I have little control over because they are based of keywords in my blogs, to attempt to claim I was hypocritical. Of course the obvious response is that makes MSNBC, Chris Matthews, and Kieth Olbermann hypocrites too, since they took ad revenue from John McCain--end of argument. It's too easy with to win arguments against liberals, but they now use the courts when all else fails.

In 2009, especially in the Obamanation, we are going to have to become proactive within our state's legislatures to insure the laws of the federal government meet their demise through the Constitutional powers of the states. The states have the power over the federal government, but there has been a trade off between federal dollars in exchange for the power. This is how we began losing our country along with the Federal Reserve act and Roosevelt's New Deal.

Everyone needs to flood Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's office with phone calls demanding he pardon Reverend Hoye. California has considered releasing prisoners because of their budget restraints, let them start by granting an innocent man who practiced his First Amendment right, over Captain McCrunch the Raper who stole the innocence from a young teenage woman.

This story should concern every one of you. The First Amendment is once again under attack. Are you going to let that continue, or are you going to stand up starting tomorrow when the state offices of California open?

I'm just curious why the REVEREND Al Sharpton or the REVEREND Jessie Jackson hasn't rose to their fellow reverend's defense.
