Vladimir Putin's Free-Market Wisdom?: Bill Clinton Laughs and Celebrates Obama's Nationalization Plans

During yesterday's World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Vladimir Putin warned too much government involvement in the world's economies could prove dangerous. Later in the day, Bill Clinton, laughed at Putin saying he hopes it works for him and cited it's a first for Putin to offer support for the free markets. Then Clinton praised Obama's first attempt at destroying our free markets. Has the world gone nuts?

Does Putin, who hasn't been a friend to many of the industries in Russia, believes this? Of course, Russia faces challenges in their economy, so his wisdom revolves around his own needs. He is right, though. Strong free-market economies even benefit Putin and Russia. Government involvement is dangerous, and Americans will soon pay the price of Obama's pork with a lengthened recession.

  1. "Has the world gone nuts?" Well, it certainly seems to be the case, Clay. It feels like I went to bed one night, like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, and woke up in a different place. None of this BS makes any sense!

  2. The thought crosses my mind that if Clinton had tried what Obama is trying when he was in office, we would have laughed in his face and shot him down. I wonder about that.

Sorry about the captcha. I hate them just like you, but the spambots have gotten ridiculous.
