Dixie Chick Natalie Maines Doesn't Know How to Keep Her Mouth Shut

You would figure that after the out lash against the Dixie Chicks in 2003, after they went to Europe and stated they were ashamed of our President, that that the Dixie Chicks would have learn to keep their mouth shuts. Apparently not. Natalie Maines is now being sued for defamation of character.

On the steps of the Arakansas state capital in Little Rock, Maines recklessly accused Terry Hobbs of murder of three Arkansas eight-year-old boys murdered in 1993. Steve Branch, Christopher Byers, and Michael Moore (not the plump anti-American), were found dead in West Memphis, AR, on May 5, 1993. The courts found Damien Echols, Jessie Misskelley, and Jason Baldwin were found guilty a year later.

Maines statements were republished by other media outlets after the rally in Little Rock. It's nice to see that some celebrities are being held responsible for their reckless comments. You would have thought after her first statements five years ago alienated their country music base, she would have learned to just sing about Earl and smile. She didn't.

Sorry about the captcha. I hate them just like you, but the spambots have gotten ridiculous.
