Blago Picks Roland Burris
The arrogance of Rod Blagojevich reached new heights today. In the middle of a scandal and possible impeachment, Blago scheduled a press conference to name Roland Burris as Obama's replacement. The news conference is scheduled for 1:00 CST.
Burris lost the democratic nomination for the US Senate in 1984 against Paul Simon.

ReplyDeleteIllinois is a great state. I called Chicago home for over ten years. Unfortunately, there are many bad (liberal)eggs that make it hard to live there. I miss riding my bike along the lake on Sheridan Road up to Wisconsin and back. It's such a beautiful ride full of history, architecture, and of course Lake Michigan. Don't get down on your state. Just work harder to vote Daley and company out of office.
